Travel
You can fly either into Boston Logan Airport (BOS) or Manchester Airport (MHT). In either case it is cumbersome to come to campus via public transportation (see options below), so a rental car is advised.
Air Travel Options
Nearest full-service airport: Manchester, NH
Closer and more convenient than Boston. Driving time: 60 minutes.
Logan International Airport, Boston, Mass.
Expect heavy traffic at times. Driving time: 80 minutes. BTW, the Google map below does not give the best directions. Take Route 1a --> 1 North when you leave the airport (you first get through several traffic lights and traffic circles) and merge onto Interstate 95 after ~ 10 miles (direction NH/Maine, quite obvious).
Shuttles Serving Area Airports
Hampton Shuttle runs from both airports, stops at the New England Conference Center at UNH and locations in Portsmouth. $49 one way from Logan, $46 one way from Manchester. Check web site for more information.
Reservation required: (800) 225-6426.
Mermaid Transportation Offers 5 daily trips from Manchester to the New England Conference Center on campus. $32 one-way and $64 round-trip. Call to reserve a seat: (800) 696-2463.
If flying into Logan, Regal Limousine and Flight Line Inc. provide transportation to UNH.
C&J Trailways bus line runs from Logan to their Portsmouth bus terminal, round trip $39. If you take this, you will need to take a taxi to Durham. The terminal closes at 10PM.
